At India Mental Health, we are committed to providing seamless access to qualified mental health professionals. Since therapy requires dedication and commitment, we have established the following Cancellation and Refund Policy to ensure clarity and fairness for both clients and therapists
1. Cancellation Policy
- No Cancellations Allowed: Once a booking is confirmed with a therapist through our platform, cancellations are not permitted.
- Rescheduling Sessions: If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, you may reach out to the therapist directly to discuss possible rescheduling. However, rescheduling is solely at the therapist’s discretion and subject to their availability.
- Failure to Attend a Session: If you miss your scheduled session without prior notice, it will be considered as utilized, and no refunds or rescheduling options will be provided.
2. Refund Policy
- Non-Refundable Payments: All payments made for therapy sessions, consultations, and other mental health services are non-refundable.
- Therapist Unavailability: If a therapist is unable to attend a session due to unforeseen circumstances, they may offer an alternative session time. If no alternative can be provided, we will work with you to find another suitable therapist.
- Payment Processing Issues: If a payment error occurs due to a technical issue, please contact our support team immediately. Refunds for technical errors will be processed on a case-by-case basis after verification.
- Subscription or Package Services: If you have opted for a multi-session package or subscription-based services, unused sessions cannot be refunded or transferred.
3. Exceptions & Special Cases
- In rare cases, such as extreme medical emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, we may review refund requests at our sole discretion. However, approval is not guaranteed.
- If an issue arises regarding a therapist’s conduct or service quality, please report it to our support team. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
